What is the difference between the Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) and the Spring Leadership Conference (SLC)?
The in-person SLC is held in downtown Toronto and welcomes secondary/high school students. Competitors participate in events that develop profession-specific technical skills as well as teamwork, leadership, and communication. The top three competitors or teams in each eligible event qualify for the International Leadership Conference (ILC). Please visit the conference page on our website for more event specifics.
The Virtual Spring Leadership Conference (vSLC) is held entirely online. It offers competitive opportunities for post-secondary students through HOSA Canada Competitive Events, while both secondary and post-secondary students may participate in the NGL/Cengage Academic Testing Center (ATC) exams. Depending on the event, competitors may complete online written tests, submit materials, or participate in virtual presentations. The top three competitors or teams in each eligible competitive event and ATC exam qualify for the International Leadership Conference (ILC). Please visit the conference page on our website for more event specifics.
